Army 2-4

Friday, October 11, 2013

We're halfway through the season and the Army football team faces serious challenges. It's hard to forget exactly how miserable it is to lose to Boston College game when this kind of stuff crosses my facebook news feed.

Important news from the practice field.

Angel Santiago, junior quarterback: Santiago was playing his best football in the last two games, leading Army to eight scores (seven touchdowns, one field goal) on 12 drives before suffering a left ankle injury in the second quarter against Boston College last week. How effective will Santiago be against Eastern Michigan with just one live practice — on Friday — under his belt?

There just isn't any time for excuses for this team and its members.

Crunch time. Crunch time. It's crunch time.
